“Paul Fair: writing god.”
Shawn Kanungo, disruption strategist, bestselling author of The Bold Ones
Hey, I’m Paul.
I love writing about other people. But writing about myself seems… well, just a little awkward. So, I had my incredible wife write this part for me:
Hi there! Miranda here. Here’s everything you want to know about Paul, but that he probably won’t tell you. Paul started out telling stories at Disney World, as characters including Flynn Rider, Han Solo, Anakin Skywalker, Prince Charming, and Jack Sparrow. Fast forward a couple years, he wrote a book for a friend, Content Based Networking by James Carbary, and things escalated from there. He’s now worked on over 30 titles as either an editor, ghostwriter, or co-author.
His titles have been published at the world’s most prestigious publishing houses included Penguin, McGraw Hill, and Scribe.
But here’s what you really need to know: why is Paul different from any other writer?
He’s business-minded. This means two things for you.
One, he can thoroughly understand any business concept you might throw at him. Yes, even the most complex ones (like Wall Street market analysis or social signaling). Understanding your idea inside out means it gets communicated to your reader clearly and concisely.
Two, he gets that time is money. He’s efficient and has developed specific processes that make the whole thing seamless from conception to completion. (Legend has it he once turned around an entire round of edits for a manuscript in less than 24 hours, just to ensure the author could make his publishing date.)
Also, he’s great with people. When we go out to eat, Paul strikes up a conversation with everyone. Not great news for me, an introvert. But for you? This is perfect. He genuinely enjoys getting to know people, which means he can expertly pull out your most compelling stories and greatest ideas. Again, this translates to a best-selling book.
Now that we’ve got that out of the way, here’s some of the fun stuff:
Paul has 9 siblings, he hates being cold (he wears thermals whenever the temperature dips below 60F), he never gives up, he loves Star Wars, he’s an outrageously generous tipper, and he hopes to live in Uganda helping orphans one day.
So, there you have it. Paul in a nutshell. Elite editor, co-author, and ghostwriter.
